My background

What led me to coaching, mental training and yoga

My roots are from India and Switzerland. Very early on, I started asking myself questions about life and meaningfulness. I also noticed that people confided in me with small and large life challenges or problems. My scientific background (Master ETH in Computational Sciences and Engineering), the study of yoga philosophy and the many further training courses in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, autogenic training, mental training and coaching have greatly inspired me on my own path.

Having worked as an engineer in the private sector for many years, I am familiar with many challenging situations in everyday working life. These insights have also helped to deepen my wealth of experience so that I can support people with their various challenges on their journey.

I have been practicing yoga, various relaxation methods and mental training techniques on a daily basis for over 15 years. The knowledge and these experiences have helped me enormously in my further development and have greatly strengthened my clarity, self-confidence and quality of life.

I make this experience available to people of all ages with my calm and empathetic manner and with a lot of joy. I accompany and support you with various methods and techniques in your development processes and personality development for a certain period of time to help you achieve a better quality of life, meaning and success.

  • 2015 to 2020: Various further training courses in yoga, mental training and meditation. Among others at the Yoga University Villeret (CH), in London, France, Holland and in India, e.g. conventional medical basics (Urs Rohrbach), the dynamics of the spine (Heinz Grill), breathing training (Dr. Martina Bley), yoga & meditation (Dr. Aviva Keller), yoga philosophy, Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita (Dr. Aviva Keller, Swami Tejomayananda).
  • 2016: MBSR eight-week course by Jon Kabat-Zinn; stress reduction and management through mindfulness (MBSR: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction)
  • Since 2016: Member of the Swiss Yoga Association with health insurance recommendation
  • 2015: Diploma as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist, Paracelsus Heilpraktikerschule Zurich


  • 2022 until now: Lecturer/trainer in: Mental training in sports, certified mental coach, autogenic training 
  • 2020 until now: Coaching and mental training
  • 2017 until now: Private yoga lessons
  • 2016 until now: Weekly yoga lessons in groups (live on site and online), including for the largest telecom provider in Switzerland and for a private bank, as well as leading various workshops and retreats

Yoga, I thought, makes me flexible and fit. Miriam's yoga can move much more. The way she leads, gently, attentively and yet demanding, awakens the seed of yoga in me through which I can grow on all levels. It feels sooo good to recognize my limits and to be guided beyond them. I have now firmly integrated yoga into my weekly routine. It's great how it helps the body to master everyday tasks more gently.
